Tapped In #013: Dads, Footy & Fundraisers

Hey all,
This past weekend was one for the books. Father’s Day was HUGE - the taproom was buzzing with families raising a glass to Dad, sharing pizzas, and making memories.
We had heaps of people entering our Win a Year of Beer competition, too. Just a reminder: all through September, if you dine in with a meal and a beer, you can grab an entry card from behind the bar. One entry per visit, max of 10 per person, and you could be lining Dad (or yourself) up with a 4-pack every week for 12 months.
🦁 Surprise Lions Game + School Fundraiser
This Saturday we’ve got something special happening. A Brisbane Lions game has popped up on the schedule, right at the same time as a function we’ve had booked for a while. Rather than choosing one over the other, we’re making room for both.
The function is a school fundraiser for St. Joseph’s Primary, so expect raffle tickets and plenty of community spirit. And since they’re big footy fans too, they’ve asked us to do something we’ve never done before - play the Lions game in full on the big screen. So if you’re a Lions fan, this is the week to come down, grab a beer, and cheer with a crowd.
🛠️ Loft Progress
Upstairs, The Loft continues to take shape. This week saw the toilet block going up, electrical work resuming, and plumbing on the way. Every new step brings us closer to opening the doors for private functions, parties, and celebrations.
