Hey all,
Some weekends just hit different. This one? HUGE!
Friday’s Lions game and Saturday’s busy taproom and functions were absolutely huge, with a full house, flowing taps, and the kind of vibe we live for - shoulder-to-shoulder buzz, beers in hand, and people genuinely enjoying each other’s company.
Nights like that are the reason we do what we do.
It’s the kind of chaos that reminds us this place is working, exactly as intended, bringing people together.
And the best bit? Everything just clicked - kitchen, floor, bar. One of those “we’re doing it” kind of nights.
🖤 Deep Purple’s a Hit - and Now You Can Get It Delivered!
While Big Fella continues his stubborn stand-off with our gas system (we’re working on it, promise), our Black IPA Deep Purple has been doing some seriously heavy lifting.

🥪 Sandwiches Are Smashing It
The Philly Cheesesteak and Meatball Sub have been flying out of the kitchen - and the feedback has been unreal. From regulars to first-timers, people are loving the switch-up from our usual pizza game.
We’ll keep experimenting with new additions (and we’re always open to your suggestions), but for now, these two are back again this week. If you haven’t tried one yet, this is your sign.
♟ Pub Chess This Sunday
We’ve got something a little quieter on the horizon - but no less competitive. Pub Chess is on again this Sunday from open, it’s guaranteed to be a fun time for regulars who like a strategic pint.
If you’re a casual player or just curious, come on by - there’ll be someone keen for a friendly game.
🔧 Event Space Reno: It’s Happening
The upstairs event space build is finally moving. Demolition has started, a plan is in place, and we’re carving out something seriously special.
We’re keeping most of the build under wraps, but we’ll start sharing the occasional behind-the-scenes photo for those of you curious about what’s coming.
One thing’s for sure - this next chapter is going to be big. And we’re building it with the same intention and care we put into every pour.
We've started some walls and framing already to make the space safe and get bench seats in! Next is electrical and lights...
